My Story
Hello there, this is me, Wayne! From the first moment I picked up a plane in my granddads shed when I was a little boy, I knew I wanted to work with timber. Since then I attended college and completed a three year apprenticeship in furniture making. Fast forward 21 years and the love for hand crafting pieces from timber is stronger than ever.
Every piece I create is made using experience gained from over 21 years working with highly skilled makers and award winning designers. I use a mix of tradition and modern methods to design and make my pieces, generally with a bias towards the traditional in both methods and tools. I believe it is the current generation of woodworkers responsibility to preserve the traditions and quality of handmade woodwork.
I am a featured maker in 'Furniture and cabinetmaking' magazine issue 316, why not have a look!
